Boho Chic | Private Residence

Christie and Shawn started planning their decor and flowers with us a few months before the Covid-19 pandemic created chaos in the wedding industry. With weddings being shut down, they cancelled their spring wedding. Christie contacted us again in late September with a confirmed date - less than three weeks away!

We quickly jumped into action planning their wedding at their new home, coordinating details with other vendors involved, designing the floor plan and ordering flowers.

Christie, an artist and designer, had a stunning vision for a boho-inspired wedding. We love the warm and relaxed vibe that we created with her. The sunset ceremony was held on their back patio, surrounded by lanterns and lush arrangements of pampas grass. We created this luxurious lounge space to double as a backdrop for the ceremony with layers of pattern and texture.

Christie had a dramatic cascading bouquet with protea and feathers incorporated with an abundance of eucalyptus, roses, lisianthus. We also included plumes of pampas grass, scabiosa pods, dried bunny tails, and trailing vine into her bouquet.

We absolutely love it when our couples get a sneak peak of the room all set up, before guests arrive!

A melange of glass bud vases with flowers in champagne, rust and sage tones were placed on our champagne chiffon table runners down the center of the guest tables, provided by Woodpecker Tables. Our handmade taper candle holders with coloured taper candles, cylinders with champagne pillar candles, and an array of gold votive candles provided a warm, candlelit glow in the tent.

This blanket table was so adorable! We loved this vignette to display the blankets to keep guests warm.

We created King style head table for Christie, Shawn, and their children with an organic, overflowing floral arrangement and candlelight down the center of the table.
